이용약관

제1조 (목적)

본 약관은 주식회사 코지타스(이하 “회사”)가 제공하는 영어 말하기·쓰기 학습 애플리케이션 IKE말해 토단영어(이하 “서비스”)의 이용과 관련하여 회사와 이용자 간의 권리·의무 및 책임사항, 기타 필요한 사항을 규정함을 목적으로 합니다.

제2조 (정의)

  1. “이용자”란 본 약관에 동의하고 서비스를 이용하는 회원 및 비회원을 말합니다.
  2. “회원”이란 서비스 이용을 위해 개인정보를 제공하고 회원가입을 완료한 자를 말합니다.
  3. “콘텐츠”란 회사가 서비스 내에서 제공하는 영어 학습 자료, 텍스트, 음성, 이미지, 영상, 연습 문제, 해설 등 일체의 정보를 말합니다.

제3조 (약관의 효력 및 변경)

  1. 본 약관은 서비스 화면에 게시하거나 기타의 방법으로 이용자에게 공지함으로써 효력을 발생합니다.
  2. 회사는 관련 법령을 위반하지 않는 범위에서 본 약관을 변경할 수 있습니다.
  3. 약관이 변경되는 경우 회사는 적용일자 및 변경 사유를 명시하여 최소 7일 전에 공지합니다.
  4. 이용자가 변경된 약관에 동의하지 않을 경우 서비스 이용을 중단하고 회원 탈퇴를 요청할 수 있습니다.

제4조 (서비스의 제공)

  1. 회사는 다음과 같은 서비스를 제공합니다.
    • 한국어 모국어 사용자를 위한 영어 말하기 및 쓰기 학습 콘텐츠 제공
    • 영어 표현 연습, 예문 제공, 학습 기록 관리 기능
    • 기타 영어 학습을 위한 부가 서비스
  2. 회사는 서비스의 품질 개선 또는 운영상·기술상의 필요에 따라 서비스의 일부 또는 전부를 변경할 수 있습니다.

제5조 (회원가입 및 계정 관리)

  1. 회원가입은 이용자가 본 약관에 동의하고 회사가 정한 절차에 따라 정보를 입력함으로써 완료됩니다.
  2. 회원은 본인의 계정 정보를 안전하게 관리할 책임이 있으며, 이를 제3자에게 양도하거나 공유할 수 없습니다.
  3. 회사는 다음 각 호에 해당하는 경우 회원가입을 제한하거나 회원자격을 해지할 수 있습니다.
    1. 허위 정보를 기재한 경우
    2. 본 약관 또는 관련 법령을 위반한 경우

제6조 (이용자의 의무)

이용자는 다음 행위를 하여서는 안 됩니다.

  1. 타인의 개인정보 또는 계정 정보 도용
  2. 서비스 운영을 방해하는 행위
  3. 불법적이거나 부적절한 콘텐츠의 게시 또는 전송
  4. 기타 대한민국 법령 또는 공서양속에 위반되는 행위

제7조 (지적재산권)

  1. 서비스 및 콘텐츠에 대한 저작권 및 지적재산권은 회사 또는 정당한 권리자에게 귀속됩니다.
  2. 이용자는 회사의 사전 동의 없이 이를 복제, 배포, 전송, 수정, 상업적으로 이용할 수 없습니다.

제8조 (서비스 이용 제한)

회사는 이용자가 본 약관을 위반한 경우 사전 통지 없이 서비스 이용을 제한하거나 회원자격을 정지 또는 해지할 수 있습니다.

제9조 (책임의 제한)

  1. 회사는 천재지변, 시스템 장애, 통신 장애 등 불가항력적인 사유로 인한 서비스 중단에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.
  2. 회사는 이용자의 귀책사유로 발생한 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

제10조 (분쟁해결 및 관할)

  1. 본 약관과 관련된 분쟁은 대한민국 법을 준거법으로 합니다.
  2. 회사와 이용자 간 분쟁에 관한 소송은 회사 본점 소재지 관할 법원을 전속 관할로 합니다.

부칙

본 약관은 2026년 1월 15일부터 시행합니다.

Terms of Service

(Effective Date: January 15, 2026)

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Cogitas Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and users in connection with the use of the English speaking and writing learning application IKEmalhae Todan English (the “Service”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. “User” means any individual who accesses or uses the Service, whether as a registered member or a non-member.
  2. “Member” means a user who has completed the registration process by providing the required information and agreeing to these Terms.
  3. “Content” means all English learning materials provided through the Service, including text, audio, images, videos, exercises, explanations, and related materials.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of the Terms)

  1. These Terms become effective when posted within the Service or otherwise made available to users.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
  3. In the event of any changes, the Company shall notify users of the effective date and reasons for the changes at least seven (7) days in advance through in-app notices or other appropriate means.
  4. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may discontinue use of the Service and request account termination.

Article 4 (Provision of the Service)

  1. The Company provides the following services:
    • English speaking and writing learning content designed for native Korean speakers
    • Practice features, example sentences, and learning history management
    • Other supplementary services related to English learning
  2. The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons.

Article 5 (Membership and Account Management)

  1. Membership registration is completed when a user agrees to these Terms and follows the registration procedures designated by the Company.
  2. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account information and may not transfer or share their accounts with third parties.
  3. The Company may restrict or terminate membership in the following cases:
    1. If false or inaccurate information is provided
    2. If the user violates these Terms or applicable laws

Article 6 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in any of the following activities:

  1. Misappropriating another person’s personal information or account
  2. Interfering with the operation of the Service
  3. Posting or transmitting illegal or inappropriate content
  4. Violating applicable laws, public order, or morals

Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. All intellectual property rights related to the Service and its Content belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders.
  2. Users may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify, or commercially exploit any Content without the prior consent of the Company.

Article 8 (Restriction of Service Use)

The Company may restrict or suspend a user’s access to the Service, or terminate membership, without prior notice if the user violates these Terms.

Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Company shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, system failures, or communication network disruptions.
  2. The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from causes attributable to the user.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Company’s principal place of business.

Supplementary Provision

These Terms shall take effect on January 15, 2026.
